大人の科学 – otonanokagaku – Part 2

My girlfriend brought a present with her when she visited me last week. It was a 35mm twin lens camera and you need to assemble it by yourself. It has been very long time since i tried to read a japanese instruction. Furthermore, we discovered several labeling mistakes in the assembling instructions. We discovered them thanks to its high definition diagrams of the parts. If you are working on them, remember to double check on the publisher website for the amendment.

Assembling the camera took us around 4 hours. Beside the handy work, significant time were used to decode those japanese instructions. This camera reminded me of those traditional China made Seagull brand or the Rollei brand. I still remember my photography club used one to take class photos back in my secondary days. It is interesting to see how it works after you have spent so much time in the Single Len Reflex (SLR) system. ~ tanoshii time spent ;p

Whats next?

- Load the film and test out ;-)
