After those sprouted leaves all died without opening up, i decided to transfer the seeds to the soil.

You will noticed that one of the seed’s external has turned brown (bottom left).  The other seed’s shoot also start to dry up (bottom right).
Not long after, i saw fungi growing on them before my mum threw them away. I have 5 seeds left.

Ok, i have thought of some crazy idea. I am not going to create a muddy water for my lotus. Through surveying the world (the internet), i stumbled about a magical invention! The crystal soil! Tada!
These crystal soil can absorb water and keep the plant moisted. The crystal soil is rather cheap. They cost SGD$2 per pack and i bought a total of 8 packs (50% for my colleague). Well, i suppose it came in different quality because my “red” crystal soil went de-color after i added water to them. …
